The hotel is very nice, it very clean and the interior is very modern, rooms are not massive but perfectly comfortable and clean, the bed was comfortable and lovely soft sheets, and pillows, great shower plenty of hot water clean and modern bathrooms with powerful hairdryer nice touches like toothbrush and paste and razors provided. There is a beautiful courtyard with fountain outside seating. There is a restaurant and bar, nice food the receptionists are very nice, friendly and helpful, most of the restaurant/bar staff are also friendly and nice with the exception of one female staff she was one of the most rude!! Unpleasant!!! Miserable!! People I have ever encountered she let’s this hotel down and she would be the I would not return, she made our stay very unpleasant!!

I chose the hotel only because it was close to the airport for my early flight out, and had an in-house restaurant. This hotel ended up being one of my nicer stays while in Spain! Well off the tourist trail, in a sort of industrial/neighborhood area. Actually got to practice my Spanish as no one I met there spoke English. Room was very bright and clean, well-furnished, and had a little balcony looking out at a lovely courtyard. I needed a late dinner and the outdoor courtyard seating was full of folks doing the same - had a nice meal and beer, enjoying the pretty courtyard and the comaraderie of all the Spanish families staying there. Very different from busy tourist spots. Perfect for my last night in Spain.

We were very pleasantly surprised. Hotel Romerito has rooms at two levels surrounding a typical Andalusian courtyard. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed with tasteful decor. Definitely more a 3 star, rather than a 2 star. Travel links into central Malaga were fairly easy. We returned our hire car in the afternoon, did a bit of sightseeing around Malaga and found transport links back to the hotel without problems. There are both bus and train stops very close by. The reception desk arranged for a taxi to get us to the airport the next morning. Cost was 20 euro. There is an independent restaurant adjacent to the hotel serving breakfast and dinner.

We booked this for one night before flying back to the UK. We wanted somewhere reasonably priced and comfortable, as we were arriving late in Malaga after visiting other cities. After reading the reviews, we were not expecting much, but we found it really good. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and looked freshly painted. The restaurant was fine and the staff friendly. The number 20 bus runs into the city every 15 minutes or so, and the bus stop is just round the corner. You can leave your luggage at the hotel. The surrounding area is not very inspiring and is rather industrial, but it is quiet and you get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is conveniently located in Los Prados. There is a bus stop opposite the Hotel tha make very easy to commute to the city centre in about 20 minutes. The restaurant/cafe offers a good service from 9am to 11pm and the baristas and waiters are lovely people always ready to help and with a smile. Rooms are kept nice and clean, and having a window to the internal courtyard guarantees a quiet and silent night sleep.
